What are CBD edibles?

As you probably already know, CBD is taking the world by storm and is becoming more popular than ever with those who are taking a proactive approach to managing their health.  There is a good reason for all the enthusiasm about this cannabinoid we call CBD.

As the industry has emerged, CBD products now come in every shape, form, and size.  You are probably already familiar with CBD tinctures or CBD oil.  CBD tinctures can be taken by placing the oil underneath your tongue, holding for 30 – 60 seconds, and then swallowing.

But what are CBD edibles?  We all know what edible means – to ingest or consume into the body is the best way of explaining it.  Here are some examples of CBD edibles.

  • CBD gummies
  • CBD chocolate
  • CBD lollipops
  • CBD mints
  • CBD jellybeans

Depending on the CBD edible product you purchase, you can choose different strengths.  For example, you may find a CBD website that offers CBD gummies in 300 mg, 750 mg, and 1500 mg strengths.  If you are new to CBD and just getting started you may want to purchase a lower strength product.  If you feel you want to titrate up, you can then purchase one of the stronger strengths.

Chewing on a piece of CBD infused chocolate just makes the experience that more convenient and enjoyable.  And if its fun and easy to take CBD this way, then the likelihood of developing a healthy new habit increases dramatically.

And remember to do your homework.  When choosing any CBD edible, read the certificate of authenticity that should be published on the vendor’s website.  Make sure there are no harmful pesticides, heavy metals, or harmful chemicals.

CBD edibles are also a great way to compliment a daily regimen of tincture oils.  If you take a CBD tincture in the morning and need just a little lift that same afternoon, you can take a CBD gummy to carry you through the rest of your day.  We have found this to be a very powerful product combination.
